The extension requests only what is necessary. Here is exactly what each permission does — nothing is hidden.
Read the page you're on when you click "Extract." Only activates on your explicit action — never runs in the background.
Inject the extraction script into pages during batch URL processing. Needed to load and parse each article you submit.
Save extracted articles and your preferences locally. Data never leaves your device — it's all in your browser's local storage.
Create background tabs for batch extraction and identify the currently active tab for one-click extraction.
Schedule the automatic 24-hour cleanup of extracted articles, keeping your browser storage clean automatically.
Provide the side panel view so you can read clean text alongside the original webpage without switching tabs.
Run the extraction script on any website, since articles can come from any news source. Only triggers on your action.
